Millions of cats, dogs, kittens, and puppies are euthanized each year in the United States because there are simply not enough homes for all of them. The National Council on Pet Population Study and Policy has found that an average of 64% of all animals taken into shelters are destroyed! Unwanted animals suffer from disease, parasites, starvation, injury, abuse, and finally, death. Cats and dogs are likely to die early when left on the streets. If the animal is brought to a local shelter, there is a good chance that he or she will be euthanized for lack of good homes. Please help put an end to such senseless suffering. Fight pet overpopulation! Groups like CCA exist to help educate people about spaying and neutering. Please call us today! "Neuter and Spay -- It's the Humane Way!" |
